I live in France where peanut butter is thin on the ground but in the first 30 days of my son’s life I consumed 40 (small) jars of skippy. These days I like SunPat (British), and i overheated my kitchen aid running peanuts through the meat grinder (worth it, excellent peanut butter)
Hi Brooks. Thanks for this important peanut butter news. I read the article about Michigan peanut butter and didn't see any mention of the dreaded mix situation. What's going on with the oil separation here?
I’ve never once had a jar with separation. My understanding is that it’s ground fairly regularly so when you’re ordering direct, you’re getting good fresh butter.
Now I can’t tell if you’re fucking with me. But yea, it is. The hard shit at the bottom is like concrete and there is no sound way to get it all mixed up properly.
Well, they answer their phone. I'm getting the crunchy and smooth organic version and a bag of red skinned peanuts and a bag of pecans. This is very exciting. Thank you.

We get a little separation but even my 6 year old daughter knows to flip the Cream Nut jar over after she tights the lid now.

I put one beater from my KitchenAid hand mixer in the jar and turn it to 1. Works like a champ!
