Just ordered some. Our household, too, is PB crazy. We're hooked on the North Shore Goodies Coconut Peanut Butter you recommended previously... if we can switch to Cream-Nut we could cut our monthly peanut butter bill down significantly!!

WOW! One jar every 2 days! I knew of your love for it but never knew it was this strong! Sounds like my Jack Rudy affair. Almost can’t drink a G and T without it. This Reminds me to order some extra bitter after this.

I started purchasing this brand of peanut butter shortly after you wrote about some of your food and kitchen must haves. I haven’t looked back since!! It’s THE best ever, along with your other recommendations, Andy’s Charleston Gold Rice, Nuts.com etc.

Your suggestions never disappoint! Thank you again for your always informative and entertaining newsletter.

I live in France where peanut butter is thin on the ground but in the first 30 days of my son’s life I consumed 40 (small) jars of skippy. These days I like SunPat (British), and i overheated my kitchen aid running peanuts through the meat grinder (worth it, excellent peanut butter)

Hi Brooks. Thanks for this important peanut butter news. I read the article about Michigan peanut butter and didn't see any mention of the dreaded mix situation. What's going on with the oil separation here?

I’ve never once had a jar with separation. My understanding is that it’s ground fairly regularly so when you’re ordering direct, you’re getting good fresh butter.

We get a little separation but even my 6 year old daughter knows to flip the Cream Nut jar over after she tights the lid now.

Isn’t separation just the worst?!?

Now I can’t tell if you’re fucking with me. But yea, it is. The hard shit at the bottom is like concrete and there is no sound way to get it all mixed up properly.

I put one beater from my KitchenAid hand mixer in the jar and turn it to 1. Works like a champ!

As promised - resolutely old school! Perhaps to a fault.

Well, they answer their phone. I'm getting the crunchy and smooth organic version and a bag of red skinned peanuts and a bag of pecans. This is very exciting. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this post! My son is on the crew team and we can’t keep enough PB in the house - good protein calories for him. I also appreciated your balsamic vinegar recommendation. It’s more elevated on my lunch salads - makes the everyday better.

Love this. My 15 year old also rows crew and when he’s visiting he crushes this PB happily.
