It’s summer and that means tomatoes left and right. This time of year I have memories of my dad standing over the kitchen sink putting tomatoes away like they were peaches, dotting each bite with a bit of salt.
Most of the heirlooms at the market don’t need much more than that, but I wanted to round up five of my favorite tomato dishes for this time of year. These are my go-to recipes, the tomato dishes I find myself coming back to, again and again.
