A collection of tabs I’ve kept open this week - to revisit, research, and remember. Maybe you’ll find something to explore here, as well.
Happy Friday, everyone.
I do hope you’re staring down a few fun things this weekend. Sometimes fun can just be sitting on your ass, if you need a break. Don’t underestimate the stimulant that is a walk in the woods, as well.
Here’s my short and sweet roundup:
Speaking of walks - this trail is being filed away for a future excursion. When I envision our family travel over the next decade, I see a lot of activity/movement based travel on the agenda. As much as I travel for food, the older I get, the more interested I am in moving, sweating, living! And I want to pass that energy along to my children. This meandering trail along the Canadian coast looks like just the kind of adventure I’d adore.
I’ve been hunting vintage Rimowa suitcases, because the more dented, the better. Here’s a promising option from their pre-LVMH days.
Great potato chips, great packaging.
If you need a decent soundtrack as we head into fall, check out the most recent playlist I just put together for Jack Rudy Cocktail Co, below. It’s heavy on the fall energy, a country adjacent collection of tunes that harken to my Kentucky roots, leaves changing, bonfires, warm cider, and cool early evening drives with the windows cracked, fresh air seeping in and restoring you.
If you aren’t familiar, Jack Rudy is my 15-year old mixers and accessories brand. We produce a myriad of essentials for your home bar, and our products are served across the globe at some of the finest bars, hotels, restaurants, and bottle shops. We’ve got some new products in the pipeline, and a bevy of classics in our catalog that continue to delight our customers to this day.
Of course that Rimowa is gone. Too perfect
Great playlist!
