A collection of tabs I’ve kept open this week - to revisit, research, and remember.
Le Etiquette - for any style/menswear nerds out there, Le Etiquette is quickly becoming a must read. It was founded by Gauthier Borsarello, who I feel like I’m now seeing everywhere - a man to know if clothes are your thing.
I love Le Etiquette’s impeccable styling, interesting articles, and appreciation of fly brands that are under the radar. You can purchase digital back issues here.
First Light Books just opened this bookshop/cafe last week in Austin, TX. This is the new project of a dear friend of mine who founded Wildsam. Knowing his appreciation for the written word and his keen sense of style, this place promises to be one of America’s great bookshops in no time at all.
Drei Berge Hotel in Switzerland - putting this on my “one day” list. Incredible property in an area of the world I’ve not explored much. This project was overseen by the polymath Ramadan Touhami. He is a gifted designer and creative director responsible for creating the beauty brand Buly. If you’re not familiar, I would suggest changing that ASAP. The products are so painfully beautiful, so well packaged, so brilliantly made that it’s hard bring yourself to use them.
South Carolina parks - we’ve been brainstorming weekend camping trips for the fall and let this be a reminder that despite all the romance of a Swiss mountain escape (above), you shouldn't sleep on the bounty of American state parks, many of which offer camping and an inexpensive way to have a great adventure, especially with kids. (I grew up camping and spelunking and they remain some of the best memories of my life.)
Probably too late for the Fall but try Table Rock State Park in the upstate mountains for camping or renting a cabin, hiking up Table Rock and generally enjoying the Upstate. And while in the area explore downtown Greenville for the foodie/drinkie in you, pack a picnic rent a boat and explore the waterfall trail on Lake Jocassee , go to Travelers Rest and bike the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and on and on and on.
