A collection of tabs I’ve kept open this week - to revisit, research, and remember. Maybe you’ll find something to explore here, as well.
The Tomales Point Trail - In October we are heading to California for some trunk shows showcasing our brand E.M. Reitz at Hero Shop in Marin and Scribe Winery in Sonoma. We opted to make it a family trip. To that end I’ve been doing lots of research about great hikes and outdoor activities. The Tomales Point Trail looks like a real stunner, and I love the sweet and straightforward tone of the National Park Service site. They’re not trying to sell you anything - just a bit of encouragement to get outside, on your own two feet, and breathe some fresh air.
George Scholz and German New Objectivity movement - through a friend I discovered an entire world of art and artists I had not encountered before, and I’m smitten. The German New Objectivity moment includes other artists like Otto Dix and Christian Schad, and many more that have left me inspired, energized, and reminded the world is rich with inspiration and one can never stop learning.
I’ve been feeling craft lately, so I ordered some Paracord and plan to make some of these bracelets over the weekend:
Never stop learning !
Tomes Point Trail is so worth it! I’ve done it a few times, in different conditions; each time was magical. Scribe is always a nice time too - enjoy!
