I just published a new Guest Book for Yolo Journal and you can take a peek here. It’s about a very very nice stay at Palm Heights in Grand Cayman. If you’re considering any easy beach getaways for next year, I would strongly consider it.

Now onto the more pressing items:

Last week I read this piece in the New Yorker about where the great old signs of NYC go when a business changes hands or a building is torn down, and one man doing his best to rescue them. As a signage lover (my phone is filled with photos of great signs from across the world) it hit home.

It got me thinking about the signage for my own restaurants and the back stories behind them all. My wife encouraged me to write about it. If she found it interesting, so must others! I hope her logic holds out.
