Since opening a restaurant in New Orleans, I’ve been getting a lot of requests from friends, customers, and readers about where to go in that fine city. Good news for anyone planning to visit The Big Easy: Yolo Journal just published their New Orleans Black Book, which is exhaustive. I’ve been writing for Yolo founder Yolanda Edwards for years, dating back to MomFilter, her early blog about parenting. I was honored to contribute my New Orleans favorites to this roundup.
