Okay, here’s the deal: it’s June and temperatures are going to continue to climb down South. Soon enough Charleston will be unbearable.
We are getting away in July, but I know August will welcome us with a thick blanket of heat upon our return. Around this time mealtime takes a different tack; I’m keen to avoid the oven and stovetop, as they only add heat to the room, challenging our air conditioning even more.
This is why I’m here to suggest the blender is your best friend during these months - a one stop shop for brilliant chilled soups and easy, icy desserts. This is peak lazy man cooking and I need to share a couple of favorites because these recipes are brainless and the outcome is SUPERB.
