Every Friday I share a quick hit list of 5 things I’m into. They may be wildly outdated or impossibly current. They may be overexposed and well known, or a hidden gem. If there is a product included, it is never sponsored or paid - this is just stuff I like.
I’m just returning from a week in Italy - Noto (in Sicily) and Rome, specifically. We were there for the wedding of our friends Ari and Molly. If you’re in Los Angeles, Ari is the chef and owner of some great restaurants, including the loved Found Oyster. It was only appropriate that the week was focused on good food and drink.
I wanted to share my favorite drinks from the week - some are deceptively simple to recreate at home. (I plan on bringing some of these to life in my own restaurants in the coming weeks.) Travel is my greatest resource for new ideas, and this trip was a reminder of the importance of keeping your eyes open, trying new things, and exploring the world around you.
If you’re heading to Italy soon, put these on your list. This post is for subscribers only.
